God gave the 7th commandment to help us preserve the foundation we build with our spouse. When adultery occurs, trust and loyalty are broken and destroyed. When you are married, you become one with your partner; breaking that bond means hurting what God has joined together. We can protect our hearts and relationships by always keeping God first and at the center of our lives.

How do you deal with the temptation when you want to be faithful to God when you still have not found your other half?

He wrote the 7th commandment because he wants us to be faithful to our partners because we become one flesh after marriage and breaking that breaks the spiritual bond God created. We can protect our hearts and relationships by following the ways of God and prayer and keeping our mind pure.

God gave us this command because He wants us to protect our bodies, which are His temple, and stay pure since marriage makes two people into one flesh. We can protect our hearts and relationships by keeping God first and making choices that honor Him.
